I have reviewed the Nyx one on the blog already if you want to see the full review and the swatches ( link). The Nyx one is slightly on the peachy side but on the lips they look quite similar.

Overall I love the Kat Von D Lolita lipstick and I think if you want to try one colour from her range you should surely check it out.Ĭoming to the dupe- the closest colours to it are Nyx Liquid suede in Soft Spoken, Colourpop Frick n Frack, MAC Whirl. Does survive a full meal with some fading around the inside of the lip. It lasts 6-7 hours easily and does not need frequent touch ups. I love dupes Who wouldnt be all about saving money Especially when I can find some thing as or BETTER that its overpriced cousin. I find it quite easy to line and fill my lips with this and don’t really need a matching lip liner much. It is transfer proof and does not leave a mark on all cups and spoons. Inspite of having dry and lips that often have rashes, this one suits me a lot. It goes on smooth and does not crack or make your lips look flakey (I am looking at you Chambor :-|). This lipstick is one of the best liquid lipsticks that I have ever tried. The applicator is a standard Doe foot one which spreads the colour evenly.

I used to love watching her Tattoo Nightmares show and I am glad she has such an excellent range of makeup as well. I love the tattoo kind of design at the bottom. The packaging of the Kat Von D Lolita shade is very sleek and chic. They look especially nice on Indian skintones. I love trying out a variety of different colours and I love the brown/berry lip colour family a lot. I think it was Kylie Jenner that brought back such shades in fashion.

It would suit almost all skintones skin it is neither too dark nor too light. I can for sure say that Lolita is one universally flattering shade. There will be a comparison swatch at the bottom of the post. The dupe is NYX Liquid Suede lipstick in Soft Spoken which I have reviewed here. I also looked for a dupe which is quite close as well but still couldn’t do without the Lolita shade. Moving on to today’s lipstick review the shade Lolita from the KVD range is a colour I always wanted to try. I honestly can’t believe I didn’t try them sooner. I don’t know what I would do without liquid lipsticks really. I have always wanted to try Kat Von D lipsticks because I have mostly read good reviews about them. I love them.I’m gonna review the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita today. They’re waterproof, and they don’t dry out my lips. I know, Make Up For Ever is more expensive than MAC, but if you’re really looking for Soar and can’t find it, this one is a great alternative. So the dupe I found is Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Lip in 14C. It must be a special color, because none of my drugstore colors matched it, and I have a LOT. The only reason I included this dupe is because Soar is sometimes really hard to get your hands on. This is darker than the other two liners and leans more red.

The last dupe I found is for MAC Soar, which is a medium toned pink-brown. NYX actually has a lot of colors similar to MAC shades, and the formula of these are really nice. The exact match I have found for this color is NYX Mauve.

This is a very popular “Kylie Jenner” color, or a 90’s more pinky- brown toned lip. MAC Whirl is a dirty rose color, with more brown in it than Dervish. The liner that I think matches almost exactly is Jordana’s liner in the color Tawny. MAC Dervish is a pinky-mauve shade, very close to my natural lip color. I did find a dupe for it, but it is a high-end dupe. Soar is a VERY popular color, and often sold out.

I had a hard time finding a dupe for Soar. I found drugstore dupes for MAC Dervish and Whirl. I own quite a bit of MAC pencils, so I thought I would look through my stash and see which ones I could easily find dupes to. Although, when it comes to pencils, there are a lot of good brands out there for cheaper – sometimes with better formulas. MAC lip pencils are a favorite of mine, they wear very well and don’t dry out my lips.
